I begun the PI Portrait project many years ago. The customized portraits became very popular over a short space of time and also helped me pay my rent whilst studying. This is one of my early flash animations depicting the process of creating a PI Portrait. It was fun watching peoples reactions to seeing the completion of the animated portrait and then wondering if the portrait just blinked or not.
